Alma Tallman

She and her husband Gordon had Gordon Soma insurance for over twenty years. She was a long time member of the Methodist Church. She loved sewing and family with a passion. First one to help bake cookies for church coffee, weddings & funerals, an avid volunteer to just about anything.

Alma is preceded in death by her husbands, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Lentz, grandchildren Chris, Robbie and Suzee, great-grandchildren Danielle, Brittaney, Chandra and Ryan, and great great-grandchildren Trenton, Tiana and Kenadie.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 4:00 – 6:00PM at Purdy and Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home in Monroe.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 1:00PM at the United Methodist Church in Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Monroe Methodist Church or the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital.
