Vickie Sinnett Johnson, age 67, of Mineal Springs, passed away on January 24, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Charlotte on September 21, 1948. Vickie loved to work in the yard, taking trips to Oak Island and most of all, loved being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Ruth Sinnett.
Survivors include her husband, Jan Johnson; daughter, Melody Blackmon; two grandchildren, Caleb Blackmon and Anna Blackmon; three brothers, Danny Sinnett, Steve Sinnett and Jeff Sinnett as well as many beloved friends and family members.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10:00am until 11:00am at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A memorial service to celebrate Vickie's life will follow at 11:00am in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel.
