Terry Dale Helms

He was born in Monroe, North Carolina on March 5, 1947, son of the late E.L. Helms Jr. and Frances Williams Helms.

Mr. Helms is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Diane Helms; his children, Amy McCaskill (Stephen), Emilie Barrett (Corey), and Jeremy Helms; his grandchildren, George Madison Campbell (Callie), Tristen Deese (Makenzi), Noah Campbell, Jordan McKinney (Austin), Mya Barrett, Zack Barrett, and Briley Helms; brother Rick Helms (Lavonne).

Dale retired from Union Power after 25 years. While others would take it easier in their retirement, Dale worked even harder baling hay, gardening, and taking care of his cows. He loved his farm, family, and friends but most of all his Lord.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Helms will be held at 11:00am Friday, May 21, 2021 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with interment following in Lakeland Memorial Park.
