Ronald William McAdam, 73, of Marshville passed away on October 1, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 11, 1946 in Jacksonville FL but spent a lot of his childhood in Hendersonville NC. Ron enjoyed playing golf and was a long time member of Monroe County Club and was a lifelong Tarheel fan.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Ron is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Mollohan and father Clarence William Mcadam. He is survived by his life partner Norma Griffin Carpenter, daughters Amy Parker (Woody), Alison Belk (Jamie), and brother Richard McAdam (Frankye), and his three grandchildren Lucas Belk, Ethan Parker and Sawyer Parker.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 26 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Marshville. A Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm.
