He was born and raised in Union County. Carson retired from Graphics Packaging after 40 years of service. He loved working on cars, especially Mustangs. He loved to tinker and was a talented whittler.
Carson is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Bernice Rorie; sister, Edith Keziah and brother, Ray Rorie, Alvin Rorie and Earl Rorie. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Peggy Rorie; sons, Scott (Ann) Rorie and Todd Rorie and grandchildren, Colton Rorie and Anya Rorie; brother, Billy Rorie and sister, Hazel Watts.
The family will have an open visitation on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. The funeral service will be on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Beulah Presbyterian Church, 8305 Landsford Rd., Monroe immediately followed by burial in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Foundation in honor of Mr. Rorie at www.alzfdn.org.
