Raeford was pre-deceased by his wife, Billie Rice Couick.
He is survived by his sons, Nelson Couick (Jan) and Kevin Couick; his grandsons, Janson Couick (Corrine) and Bradley Couick (Samantha); and his great-grandson, Brooks Couick; his special friend, Barbara Ferguson; and many other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Waxhaw City Cemetery, 111 Arbor Drive, Waxhaw, NC.
