R. Gerald Clark

R. Gerald Clark, 87, of Camden SC, passed away on May 31, 2020. He was born in Winstead, CT on June 1, 1932. After graduation from Westfield High School, he entered the army. He later worked at Pratt & Whitney in Hartford, CT and then worked for 30 years at Digital Equipment Corporation in Westfield, MA.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan, his daughter Mary Louise (Michael) Mason of Camden, SC, his son Brian Gerald Clark (Michelle) of Monroe, NC, and brother, Donald Clark (Susan) of Mesquite, NV. And his grandchildren, Chelsea (Joseph) Rohrer of Knightdale, NC, Reid Mason of New Port Richey, FL, Anthony Gallo of Westfield, MA, Kristen Boice of Charlotte, NC, and his precious great grandchildren Rex and Gus Rohrer.

For those who knew him he was a kind and gentle soul with a quiet strength and helpful demeanor. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in the name of Nicole LoStocco. Services will be held on June13, 2020 at 11:00 am, lakeside, at his home in Camden SC.
