Mary Louise Pinson

Mrs. Mary Louise Pinson, 95, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Hospice of Union County. Mrs. Pinson was born October 24, 1917 in Anson County N.C., daughter of the late Charles and Anna Carpenter Melton, she was also preceded in death by her husband Clyde Pinson, siblings; Evelyn Sill, Ray Melton and Grover Melton. Visitation will be Monday, December 31, 2012 from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mary Louise will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, with her Pastor, Reverend Paul Saleeby officiating, interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park in Wadesboro N.C. Survivors include one daughter: Brenda Walden of Monroe, one son; Rick Pinson and wife Cheryl of Ravenna Ohio, Grandchildren; Dana Slawter and husband Sutton of Winston Salem, N.C., Brian Walden of Charlotte N.C., Stephanie Harris and husband Adam of Valparariso In., Great Grandchildren; Jesse Kimbell of Debary, Fl., Preston Slawter of Winston Salem N.C., Aubrie Harris of Valparariso In., Sister: Myrtle Melton Howell of Norwood N.C., Sister-in-law; Rachel Gordon of Forest City N.C., Special Niece Jenelle Ayers of Plymouth N.C., number of Nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Gina Morrill and the entire staff of Hospice of Union County for the loving care shown their Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great grandmother.
