Mark Needham Rollins Jr.

Mr. Rollins, originally from Selma, N.C., came to Charlotte in the late 1960’s. He was employed by First Union National Bank for 17 years and then at Mark Oil Company until the mid-2000’s. After retirement, Mark spent many hours researching and recording information on his family ancestry, a hobby he truly loved.

Mark was preceded in death by his son, Mark Needham Rollins III. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shellie Massey Rollins; daughter, Amelia Rollins; son, Daniel Rollins and wife, Michelle; three granddaughters, Kyrstin Rollins, Madyson Rollins, and Emory Sue Rollins.

Visitation is Friday, February 6, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe N.C. Services to celebrate the life of Mark will be on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in McEwen Colonial Chapel with Reverend Jon De Bell officiating. Interment will be at Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery.
