Mark Lloyd Goddard

Mark Lloyd Goddard, 64, of Monroe, NC passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on December 6, 2020. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ on November 17, 1956. Mark grew up in Mt. Holly and later settled in Monroe, NC. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He spent many years as an electrician, estimator and project manager across the southeast before he found his passion as the Owner/Operator of Vaping Xtreme. He was a world traveler and loved spending time at the beach and was also a classic car enthusiast. Mark was a loyal, loving and caring man who never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Mark is predeceased by his father, Derl Goddard and brother, Walter Goddard. He is survived by his fiancée, Precilla Cassanova; sons Mark L. Goddard II (Christine), Derek Goddard (Ally Freis); mother Mary Goddard; siblings Veronica Hodges (Mark), Chris Goddard (Mia Hart), Marsha Merton (Tim) and Jennifer Hanna (Paul); granddaughter Amelia Goddard; and numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Novant Health Hospice.

Please join us in celebration over the loss of an unforgettable man, Mark Goddard. We know that he would want us to not dwell on the sad, but remember the good. It is with this in mind that we plan to hold this special event on September 18th, 2021 beginning at 5:00 pm, which will take place at RedFez Shrine Club, Charlotte NC.

Leave your sadness at the door, but bring rather your stories, your laughs, and your happiness over a life that was lived to the fullest. Dress for a gathering of friends rather than a funeral. Please, stop by or call the store and let us know you will be attending.
