Margaret Aycoth Moss

Margaret Aycoth Moss, age 85, of Waxhaw passed away on March 14, 2015. She was born on February 2, 1930 in Union County to the late Conley and Hazel Aycoth. She was married to Neil Reid Moss and they had five daughters together. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband; infant daughter, Nancy Carol Moss; her brother, Robert Aycoth; sister, Irene Harmon; great-granddaughter, Delanie Payne; and her two son-in-laws, Kenneth Laney and Ed Gibson.

Margaret is survived by her four daughters, Faye Dawkins (Tom), Joyce Belk (Ronald), Terry Gibson and Bebe Laney Cunningham (Troy); ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Jordan and husband David of Monroe, Jean Helton and husband Harold; two brothers, Neil Aycoth of Monroe and James Aycoth and wife Jean of Midland.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 6pm until 8pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. Her funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at McEwen Colonial Chapel with burial to follow in Waxhaw City Cemetery.
