Lois Griffin Hammond, age 83, of Monroe, passed away on December 16, 2015.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Smith of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Brandy Smith, Eric Smith, Danny Walden Jr. and a number of great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clifford and Hallie Mae Griffin; her husband, William “Bill” Hammond; daughter, Linda Horton Scism; sister, Helen Griffin; brother, James Griffin and her first husband, Thad K. Horton.
The family will receive friends 11:00am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe with a graveside service in Lakeland Memorial Park beginning at 12:15pm.
McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is serving the family of Mrs. Hammond.
