Linda G Helms

Linda Helms, 74, of Monroe peacefully entered Heaven on November 9, 2018 at Hospice of Union County. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Linda was a loving, caring mother and wife, always there for her family. She was a lifetime member of Wolf Pond Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John Helms; children, Tony (Diane) Helms, Cathy (Keith) Rushing and Tommy (Teresa) Helms; grandchildren, Anthony (Cynthia) Helms, Amanda (Shane) Green, Matthew (Kayla) Laney, Stephanie Helms and Brandon (Stephanie) Helms; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Brantley Helms, Paxton and Harper Laney and Bradley and Maverick Helms and her special friends, Johnny and Barbara Morton and Wade and Lee Parker. She is predeceased by her sister, Judy McCoy.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Wednesday, November 14. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. immediately followed by burial at Lakeland Memorial Park.
