Linda Ann Helms of Monroe received her eternal reward on September 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lumberton, NC and after graduating from high school, she moved to Monroe where she met the love of her life. Linda married Ricky Helms Sr. “Big Rick” on March 2, 1974.
Linda is predeceased by her loving husband of 36 years. She is survived by her son, Rick Helms, daughter Melissa Helms-Grindstaff (Timmy); grandchildren, Anthony Helms, Justin Ritch, Aaron Mical, Cody Helms, Nick Grindstaff and Stefan Adkins and two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Bailey Ritch.
The family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Wednesday, September 8 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 9 at 2:30 pm followed by burial at Lakeland Memorial Park.
