Larry Brice Griffin

As an avid church goer, Larry loved leading the choir at both New Hope United Methodist and Grace United Methodist in Monroe, NC. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Libby Griffin; his parents, H. Brice Griffin and Kate Nance Griffin; and two sons, Timothy Griffin and Eric Griffin. He is survived by his daughter, Luann Shaw; son-in-law, Joseph Shaw; grandchildren, Blake Ramsey, Kaitlin Cohn (Alex), Caroline Ramsey, Joey Shaw, Thomas Hodge (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Elijah and Everly Hodge; two brothers, Arnold Griffin (Helen) of Wilmington, NC and Robbie Griffin of Marshville, NC; and half-sister, Maddie G. Carpenter. In lieu of flowers contributions and memorials can be made to Hospice of Union County at 700 West Roosevelt Blvd. in Monroe, NC, 28110.
