Jimmy Allison Winchester, 74 of Monroe passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2020.
He was born in Charlotte on May 10, 1946. Prior to his retirement, Jimmy had a long career as an HVAC installer.
Jimmy is predeceased by his grandson, Chase Helms, his parents, Plato Winchester and Ailee Moser Winchester and two sisters, Jean Winchester and Selma Deviney. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nellie Winchester; daughter, Lorie Winchester; step-son, Richard Helms and his wife, Lisa; step-daughter, Rene’e Helms and brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Jerrie Lynn Winchester.
The family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
