Born on June 23, 1941 at Greenwich Hospital, she was the beloved daughter of the late Grayson and Nancy (Judice) Brown.
Jean is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Bruce T. Davis. She is survived by her loving children, Christopher Allen (Sarah), David E. Allen (Megan) and Donna DeCarlo (Damian); Dear grandmother of Matthew Allen, Daniel Allen, Caroline Allen, Lily Allen, Conor Allen, Christopher DeCarlo, Elizabeth DeCarlo and Catherine DeCarlo. Jean is survived by her four siblings, Carol Battema of Royse City, TX, Lyn (Neil) Oransoff of North Grandby, CT, Shirley (Wayne) Marshall of Jupiter, FL, and Grayson (CarolLynn) Brown of Sandy Hook, CT.
Jean graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1959. Many will remember her as the office manager for Manero’s Restaurant for 35 years. She loved her needlepoint projects and was an avid tennis player, playing through her late 70’s. But she will be most remembered for the love of her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held at the Chapel of St. Matthew Catholic Church, located at 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 3pm.
