Harold B. Ennis, 90, of Monroe passed away on January 31, 2021. Born and raised in Union County, Harold had a long career as both a lineman then later a switchboard operator for GTE, later known as Verizon. Harold loved to fish and spend time outdoors.
Harold is predeceased by his wife, Joyce Ennis; parents, W.A. and Amy Ennis and siblings, Fair Ennis, W.A. Ennis Jr., Howard Ennis, Grady Ennis, Donald Ennis and Clayton Ennis. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Ennis; granddaughter, Donna (Danny) Sizemore; grandson, Scott (Crystal) High; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Winchester, Zachary Starnes, Caleb High, Cameron High and Holt High and his siblings, Billie E. Cunningham and Roland Ennis.
Visitation will be at 1:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Thursday, February 4, 2021 followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Lakeland Memorial Park.
