Mrs. Elena "Lib" Knight

She was born October 23, 1929 in Mecklenburg County, NC, the daughter of the late Mr. James Oscar Patton and the late Mrs. Clara Belle Slaton Patton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Walter Lee Knight; two brothers: Howard Patton and Franklin Patton; one sister: Mary Elise Medlin.

Mrs. Knight is survived by one daughter: Patricia K. Helms and husband Donald of Unionville, NC; two sons: Donald Wayne Knight and wife Pearleen of Marshville, NC, Jeffrey Lee Knight and wife Amy of Matthews, NC

The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday November 29, 2015 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM in the Shining Light Baptist Church, with funeral services to celebrate her life beginning at 2:30 PM in the church sanctuary conducted by Pastor Tim Cruse, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
