Edward “Ted” Reid Frye Sr., age 90, of Monroe, passed away on February 1, 2019.
He was born in Gaston County on February 18, 1928, son of the late Henry and Cora Lee Frye. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Ann Blair. He is survived by his wife, Vermel Roach Frye; his son, Reid Frye and wife Wanda; his step-children, Patricia and Michael; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mr. Frye will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Monroe City Cemetery “Bickett Street” in Monroe, NC.
