Daniel Floyd Orr Jr.

He was born in Mecklenburg County on September 11, 1936, son of the late Daniel and Cary Ennis Orr. He was preceded in death by his son, Greg Orr and his daughter-in-law, Cam Orr.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara Orr; his daughter, Karen King; his son, Tim Orr (Michelle); his grandchildren, Amber (Andrew), Ryan (Stephanie), Robert (Krysten), Kimberly, Matt, Tyler, Summer and Casey; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Anthony, Savannah, Kaylee, Gracie, Chance, Riley and Brynlee and by his sisters, Mary Helms and Geraldine Hartis (Frankie).

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Orr will begin at 1:00pm in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
