Charlie faithfully attended Ebenezer Baptist Church for the past 15 years. During those years, he taught Sunday School, worked with the Children’s Ministry, sang in the choir and served on numerous committees. Because of his involvement with the Children’s Ministry and his love for children, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church for upgrading playground equipment. Donations can be sent to the church at 1417 Unionville Indian Trail Road W., Indian Trail, NC 28079. Charlie’s family would like to thank Hospice of Union County, especially Jan Greene and Sue Gayle, his nurses; Stephanie Teague, his social worker and Ron Honeycutt, the chaplain.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 18 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 19, at 10:30 am at Ebenezer Baptist Church followed by burial at Price Family Cemetery.
