Mrs. Bonnie S. Smith, 85, passed away Wednesday at Novant Medical Center in Matthews. Mrs. Smith was born March 25, 1930 in Jefferson County S.C., daughter of the late Curtis and Reba Hubbard Smith. She was also preceded in death by a brother Sonny Smith. Mrs. Smith was an accounting bookkeeper.
Visitation will be Friday evening, July 10th, 2015 at the McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Graveside Services to celebrate her life will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Marshville City Cemetery, with Jim Ferguson officiating.
Survivors include her husband; Bill F. Smith of the home, two daughters; Gail Sullivan (Jack) of Winston Salem, Sandy Davies of Charlotte, two sons; Gary Smith of Wingate, Marty Smith (Tina) of Gastonia, five grandchildren; Marcus Smith, Ryan Sullivan, Farrell Sullivan, Rachel Odum, Mandy Burnett; also one great-grandchild; Cash Odum.
