Billy Frank Watkins, age 86, of Monroe, passed away on August 2, 2020.
He was born in Union County on April 27, 1934, son of the late Fairley and Lessie Tyson Watkins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Watkins.
Billy is survived by his brother, Dwight Watkins; his nephews, Rick Watkins and David Watkins.
Mr. Watkins served in the US ARMY, was an Electrical Foreman with Charlotte Pipe and Foundery and was a cattle and orchard farmer for many years.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at New Salem Baptist Church. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00pm in the church sanctuary with interment following in Lakeland Memorial Park. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the Watkins family.
