He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and belonged to St. Rose Church. He enjoyed watching the Yankees games with his wife, bowling, and spending quality time with his family. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh, big smile, and warm heart. He will also be deeply missed and loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Dionisio, his children, Nick, Laura and Cristina, grandchildren, Nicole, Anthony, Danielle, and Elaina and also by his great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Vito will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son, Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, Connecticut 06468. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Monday, August 28, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, Connecticut 06470. Burial to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx, New York 10465.
