Robert L. Ross

The son of Flaviano and Clementine Rossi, Bob was born in Waterbury and a resident of Shelton, Jensen Beach, FL, and Trumbull. Bob was a salesman and the long-time business owner of Ferraro Bros. Inc. in Bridgeport before his retirement and move to Florida where he and Emily enjoyed 20 years of sun, fun, condo board elected office and fishing before moving back to CT. Bob was known for his infectious laugh, clever sense of humor, and love for his family – generously putting them first above all else. He enjoyed watching and playing (or both) tennis, golf, competitive bocci, and the Yankees.

Bob is the beloved father of Lori Avedikian of Stratford, Robert Rossi (and wife Karen) of North Andover, MA, and Shari McDaniel of Shelton. He also leaves his adoring grandchildren Sofia, Robert, Anthony, Jack and Nicholas and grand-pups Daisy, Scotty and Hanna. In addition, he is survived by his loving sister Margaret (Margie) Testa of Waterbury, her husband Mike, sister-in-law, Nancy Ferraro, and his nieces, nephew and their children.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services to be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton. Interment will take place immediately following at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave., Stratford. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home.
