Ramon Lopez

Ramon Lopez was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on March 10, 1932. He moved to Connecticut at the age of 23 living the wide majority of his life in Bridgeport and he worked as a Machinist for Sikorsky Aircraft for nearly 22 years. To all who knew and loved him he was known to be a jack of all trades, a craftsman who loved working with his hands on his free time. But more than anything he adored his entire family and extended family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Laudelina Lopez, his daughters Rosalina Lopez and Sarita Lopez, his sons Ricardo Lopez and Raymond Lopez along with his wife Viviana Lopez. Ramon was also the proud Grandfather of 6 grandchildren, Shavonne Andino, Aljovone Andino, Vanessa Perez, Elizabeth Maldonado, Eric Lopez and Jeremiah Lopez along with 8 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Monday, April 11, 2022, from 4-8pm at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10:00 am with Father Skip at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 275 Union Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06607. Interment to immediately follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery-Easton, Harvester Road, Easton, CT 06612.
