Peter Joseph Rocco, age 56, of Stratford, Beloved husband of Doreen Anderson Rocco, died Sunday October 9, 2011. He was born March 9, 1955 to Florence Rocco and the late Stanley Rocco. Peter cherished the time and special memories he shared working with his friends at the Monroe Police Department. In addition to his wife, Peter leaves behind his cherished daughters Andrea and Dana Rocco. He leaves behind his beloved mother Florence Rocco, and sister Joanne Rocco, as well as his mother and father in law Dolores and Donald Anderson, sister in law and brother in law Donna and James Bruno, and nieces Kristen Bedell and Katie Bruno, in addition to many family and friends.
Family would like to thank the staff at Davita Dialysis, particularly his nurse Liz Medina for her excellent care. Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday October 12, 2011 from 4pm-8pm at the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home on 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe CT. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday October 13, 2011 at St. Marks Church of Stratford at 11am with burial to follow.
