She was 83 years old and the devoted wife of the late Louis Trombetta.
Born on February 25, 1941, in Italy, Nancy was the daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine Tufaro. She brought her vibrant spirit to Monroe, where she was a beacon of love for those around her.
A gifted cook and gardener, Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her culinary delights were admirable, often bringing family and friends together around the table. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Theresa Finelli and JoAnn Volturno, and her fiancé, Gary. She was the proud grandmother of Thomas, Nicholas, Daniel, David, Michael, and Gina, who filled her life with laughter and love. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael. Nancy is also survived by her sister Maria Giacobbe (John), brothers Pasquale Tufaro (Ann) and John Tufaro (Kris). Nancy was predeceased by her sister Carmella DeGirolamo (Mario), her brother Vincent Tufaro (Giovanna), as well as many extended family members who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Nancy's life will take place on November 6th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Church, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to share their condolences during the visitation on November 5th from 4-7 p.m. at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home.
Nancy Trombetta leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her loved ones.
