Mary was born on October 31, 1937 in Minden, West Virginia to the late Guido and Elizabeth Diodarado Gualtieri. She was a Lauralton Hall graduate and a graduate of Interboro Institute in NYC. She was formally employed at the CT Business Institute and later retired after 25 years of service as a secretary for the Monroe Planning and Zoning Department at the Monroe Town Hall.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed, but her memory and values will continue to live on through her family. She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, collecting coins, watching Days of our Lives, but most of all spending time with her family.
In addition to her devoted husband Daniel, of 60 years, survivors include 4 loving daughters-Lynda Linley (Robert III), Lisa Brackett (Andrew), Lori-Ayn Mennilli and Lynora Lichvar (Daniel). She also leaves behind her sister and best friend Roseann Plude (Ronald), her 1st cousin Anthony Lancia who was like a brother to her and her sister in law Ann Jisonna and her cherished grandchildren Lauryn Linley (Nicholas Doniger), Robert Linley IV (Emily), Brittany Patti (Mark), Kayla Brackett, Daniel “DJ” Mennilli, Alexandra and Alyssa Lichvar, and two great-grandchildren, Austin and Grant Patti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 2nd at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Parish located at 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4-8 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher and Son Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Interment will be private. The family requests no flowers.
