She was born Bridgeport, CT on September 17, 1931. Margaret graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, CT. She was married to John S. Steskla Jr. on July 6, 1949.
Margaret worked in the food industry as a cafeteria manager for Bridgeport Brass (Bridgeport, CT), Kennedy Center (Bridgeport, CT), Vitramon Corp (Monroe, CT), and DuPont (Newtown, CT). She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order St. Maximilian Kolbe Fraternity - Professed on March 17, 2018. She had a passion for Christmas crafts, reading, and the show "Days of Our Lives".
Margaret is survived by her children, John A. Steskla (Miriam), Caitlin A. Louis (John), and Jayne E. Potak (Robert); grandchildren, Jennifer (Dallas) Harding, Kristen (Kevin) Nyberg, Jaclyn (William) Hughes, Jason Louis, Christopher (Erin) Louis, Dana (Chrissy) Potak, Jessy (Mark) Barone, and LeAndrea (Brian) Reynolds; 16 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Barbara Cornwell (Ed).
