Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of Louise and William Rouse. She graduated from South Hagerstown HS. She worked as a household engineer, and later in life as a water aerobics instructor for the YMCA in Waynesboro, PA. She enjoyed fishing, swimming, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and her cat, Matilda.
Louise is survived by her daughter Karen and her wife Michelle, grandchildren, Emma, Shalom and Dassi, sister-in-law, Nancy Rouse, nieces, Jenny, Sharon and Trisha Carrie, and brother, William Rouse Jr. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Matilda. In addition to her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband Cecil Widdows, and her brother, Robert Rouse.
Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral at 12:00pm, on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. Burial to follow at B’nai Israel Monroe Cemetery, 472 Moose Hill Road, Monroe, CT 06468.

Karen will sit Shiva at 208B Windgate Circle, Monroe, CT 06468, from January 2nd–January 8th, 2024. Hours for visiting will be from 10am to 12pm daily and from 5pm to 9pm at night.
