Louise M. Conte

CONTE - Louise M (Leggiero) Conte age 89 of Trumbull passed away on Monday April 23, 2012 at Lord Chamberlin, Stratford. Born in Rotterdam Junction, NY on October 9, 1922. She is survived by her loving husband Carlo P. Conte. They were married for 53 years. She was a caring mother to her son Stephen A. Conte and his wife Gretchen of Monroe and son Henry S. Conte and his wife Marcie of Shelton. She was a loving grandmother to Erika Louise, Patrick James, Anthony Carl, Ryan Michael and Nicholas Raymond Conte. She was predeceased by her brothers Martin Leggiero, Louis Legierro, John Leggiero and sisters Anne Maggi and Teresa Falcigno. Louise was employed by General Electric in the payroll department and enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, keeping an immaculate house and enjoying her five grandchildren.

The wake will be held on Thursday April 26 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P.Gallagher and Son Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Tpke, Monroe, CT. Funeral services will be held at 9 AM Friday April 27, 2012 at St Theresa Church 5301 Main Street, Trumbull with burial to follow at Oaklawn cemetery, Fairfield.
