She was predeceased by her parents William and Madeline Durkin of Greenwich and her loving sister Claire Mcisaac of Somerville, MA.

Marion is survived by her dedicated husband of 65 years Elvin E. Lockwood, son Elvin “Butch” Lockwood of Virginia, son and daughter-in-law Roger and Joanne Lockwood of Monroe, CT, granddaughter Melissa Lockwood of Monroe, her very special niece Janet Cromer of Maryland and nephew Robert Arsenault of Virginia.

Marion was very interested in the history of her hometown and was always drawn to the Long Island Sound from Island Beach to Todd’s Point where she lived for many years.

She is best remembered for her 14 years as “Mrs. Clause” at Ridgeway Shopping Center in Stamford every holiday season.

There will be a celebration of her life at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich CT on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 6pm-8pm. Burial will be at a later date.
