

Linda Rose Christiani (Novitzky), age 59, of Monroe, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015, in her home under Masonicare Hospice Services after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Linda is survived by her loving husband Louis Novitzky of Monroe; three children, Matthew Novitzky, Jaclyn Flynn, and David Novitzky; devoted siblings, David and Charlotte Christiani of Massachusetts, Kathy and Tom Gniadek of Cheshire, Connecticut, Michael and Nancy Christiani of Virginia and Paul and Linda Christiani of Nebraska; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 29, 1955 and grew up in Easton, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Gladys and Leonard Christiani. Linda graduated from Joel Barlow High School with the class of 1973. She attended Fairfield University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law Studies. She then furthered her education at the University of Bridgeport Law School. On August 10, 1985, Linda married her soul mate. She was employed as an attorney at Willinger Willinger & Bucci for over 10 years. Linda was an incredible person, filled with energy and constantly on the go. The most important thing in her life was her family and having everyone together. She also enjoyed exercising, being outdoors, walking and gardening. Her laughter and sense of humor will be missed deeply. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday May 19th at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
