Kim Zahor, age 45 unexpectedly entered into eternal rest June 3, 2017 at St Vincent's Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Chris Zahor for 22 years. Kim was born in Puerto Rico. She was raised in New Rochelle, a graduate of Jonathan Law High School and lived in Monroe for the past 12 years with her family. Kim was a faith filled, devoted mother who's love of children brought her to her job at All-Star Transportation working with special needs children and helping at St Jude Catholic Church with the religious education program. Kim loved animals and spending time with her family.
When not working she enjoyed the beach, camping, walks in the park, watching sports, food, especially Pepe's Clam pie. Holidays were always a special time, Thanksgiving being her favorite. Survivors include her mother Paula Seacord of Shelton, her husband Chis Zahor, her children, Christopher, Alexis, Joey and Elizabeth, her sister Wendy Gibson and her husband Mike, her niece and nephew Abby and Mickey, her Father and mother-in -law John and Maureen Zahor formally of Monroe, her brother-in-law John his wife Robin and their children Nick and Devon and brother-in-law Jason and his wife Jen and their children Gracie, Jackson and Jared. Kim's family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 7th at the Spadaccino and Gallagher Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Tpke from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Thursday, June 8th at St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Tpke (Route 111) Monroe. Internment will take place at St. John's Cemetery on Moose Hill Rd.
