Joseph F Bisignano, Jr., longtime resident of Monroe CT, beloved husband of 65 years to Dorothy R Bisignano, passed away on August 10, 2021, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 88 years old.
Born in Bronx, NY on March 17, 1933, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Josephine Bisignano. Joseph served his country in the US Air Force, was a retired Butcher, his most important part of life was his family. He loved and cared for them deeply above all else.
A devoted catholic who belonged to St. Jude's Church in Monroe will be forever remembered for being a faithful Husband, loving Dad, amazing Grandpa, Uncle and friend. His kind, compassionate, generous, respectful, humble, beautiful soul will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
Along with his wife Dorothy, Joseph leaves behind his daughters Donna (Joe) Vigorito, Karen (Ed) Browning, son Joseph, grandchildren Kristina and Elizabeth Browning, Danny Bisignano, Joe (Barb) Vigorito, son-in-law John Wronski and special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Elaine, brother Richard, and sister Antoinette.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Jude's Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe CT 06468 for a Christian Mass, on Thursday August 19, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
Burial will be private.
