Born and raised in Southbury, CT, Jean was the daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth Benson. Longtime resident of Monroe, Jean worked at Southbury Training School and St. Joseph’s Manor before working as a bus driver for the Town of Monroe for 26 years. In addition to being an avid New York Yankees fan, Jean enjoyed baking, especially her delicious apple pies and homemade breads.
Jean is survived by sons Donald (Marie) and David Clark, grandchildren Lea (Andrew) and Jimmy, brother Johnny Benson (Pat), sister Sylvia Socci (Tony), brother-in-law Charlie Klein, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by siblings Lois Dunlap, Myron Benson, Brenda Klein, and brother-in-law Donald J. Clark.
