Gina James, 71, of Monroe, left this life Friday, February 2, 2024 at Bridgeport Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in France she came to the United States as a toddler and lived the last 8 years in Monroe. She was employed by SNET, (SBC, AT&T) for nearly 30 years. After leaving AT&T she worked at United Health Care before retiring. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael R. James and her devoted daughter Keeley Ann James of Derby. Also 2 sisters, Patty Caruso of Shelton (Tom), Jennie Perry (Charles) of Newtown, a brother John Caruso of Newtown (Maureen) and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a wonderful son Michael E. James, parents Nunzio and Argentina Caruso of Monroe, 2 sisters, Lucy Farrell of Monroe and Nancy Caruso of Florida. Burial will be private.
