George L. Hanlon of Winter Garden, FL., formerly of Monroe, CT, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021.
He was the husband of the late Madeline D. Hanlon. Father of Christopher Hanlon and his wife Jennifer and Jenifer Stanczyk and her husband Michael. Brother in law of Frank V. DeLieto. Beloved grandfather (Poppy) of Mia, Sophia, Molly and Olivia.
He was born in Milford, son of the late Francis and Anne Lucas Hanlon. George worked for AT&T as a supervisor in Bridgeport for many years as well as a Fiber Optics Engineer for Tele-Communications Inc. until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother in law who will be missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 18th, 2021, 11:00am at St. Jude Parish, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Interment to immediately follow at Monroe Center Cemetery, Old Tannery Road, Monroe. Arrangements are in care of the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home.
