Donovan Brown

Donovan A. Brown “Rev” age 51 of Bridgeport, CT and Herndon, VA, beloved husband of Dannet Parchment Brown, left this life on November 29, 2013 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Donovan was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica on January 13, 1962 the 2nd of Theresa and the late Oscar Brown’s four children. Donovan attended primary and high school in Jamaica and worked in the family restaurant business before migrating in 1989 with his brothers to join their parents in the US. He worked for 7 years at Norwalk Hospital before returning to Jamaica where he engaged in a business venture and married his wife. They later lived in England before he returned to CT in 1999 and became employed with CentiMark Corporation in the Roof Systems division. While at CentiMark, Donovan worked from several of their regional offices and quickly developed expertise in spray polyurethane foam system used in the South Florida region. He then became involved in training workers in the process. He was employed at Centimark up to the time of his death from natural cause.

Donovan is survived by his wife Dannet, son Cashwayne, mother Theresa, brothers Lloyd, Edgar, Leo, Osmond, and Delroy and sisters Marcia, Monique and Jacqueline, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends who mourn a great loss. Viewing and funeral service in CT will be at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Tnpk Monroe, CT 06468 from 10 a.m. -2:00 p.m on Sunday, December 15, 2013.
