Born in Derby, CT, he was the son of Dolores Gallant and the late Joseph (Fred) Gallant. He was a Shelton High School graduate. He was employed at M-Cubed Technologies of Monroe, CT and worked as a Machinist.
Chris’s passion was cooking for friends, was a “plant” enthusiast, loved all genres of music, traveling to San Diego and loved the outdoors. He will be remembered for his awesome hugs, his generosity, unique way of making people laugh his want to help friends and strangers, his love of cooking motivated his to start his own Facebook Foodie page (Show Me What You’re Eating) that now has thousands of followers.
He is survived by his Mother, Dolores Gallant. Sisters, Noeele Gallant, Michele Taylor and her children Jason (Julie), Sean (Angela) and Caitlin. Suzanne Glover (Greg) and their children Amy (Lawrence) and Kristy (John). Great nieces and nephews, Alexander, Bella, Cayden, Addison, Evie and Johnny V. His bonus sister Heather and Danielle and special friend, Jim.
He was predeceased by his father Fred, Grandparents, Partner Ken, and Big Brother Phil.
Friends are invited to calling hours Sunday, March 5, 2023, 11am until 2pm at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT. Funeral Service Burial date to be announced at a later date.
