Born to Charles and Rose (Piscatelli) Piazza in Bridgeport, CT, Carl was raised in Connecticut. He joined the United States Army at the age of 18 in 1958. Following his time in the Army, Carl earned a degree in Business from Quinnipiac College.
Carl married the love of his life, Joan (nee Luongo) Piazza, and they had one daughter, Kim. As life continued, Carl found himself on stage acting in television shows, and enjoyed a career or not only television acting, but in movies and Broadway as well.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan Piazza, daughter Kim (Brent) Addenbrooke, grandchildren Brent Addenbrooke Jr., Ava Addenbrooke and Amber (Brian) Reda. Carl is also survived by three great-grandchildren Jayden, Bryleigh, Olivia and Tony, as well as his sister Annette (Frank) Jacquot, brother-in-law Gary (Pam) Paolini, niece Amy (Michael) Dias, nephew Jason Jacquot, and many other beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation for Carl will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, Connecticut 06468, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
