Anthony was born in Bridgeport, CT on April 7, 1929 to Pasquale and Jenny D’Angelo. He served in the Air Force as an auto mechanic in the motor pool where he was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the U.N. Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. After leaving the Air Force, he worked for City Barrel Company in Bridgeport, CT for 45 years. In addition to spending time with his family, Anthony enjoyed working on cars and fishing with his sons, and later on, with his grandchildren. Anthony is predeceased by his parents and brother, Pasquale Junior. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Assunta “Sue” D’Angelo and his five sons and their families, Anthony and Kathy of Desert Hills, AZ, Michael and Susan of Milford, CT, Joseph and Staci of Monroe, CT, Robert and Danielle of Largo, FL and Patrick and Darla of Monroe, CT as well as seven grandchildren Mia, Marissa, Dominic, Daniel, Dylan, Alexis and Brandon. Anthony is also survived by his sisters Loretta Mainiero, Jean Wargo, and Theresa Stott and by his sister-in-law, Lucille D’Angelo.
