Gertrude Roberson Flowers, age 97. A native of Lockhart, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on April 5, 2012. She was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thomas Flowers. She is survived by her children, Billy Flowers, Sr. and Karen (David) Burns; sisters, Mary Swain, Evelyn Wolfe; nine grandchildren, Billy Flowers Jr., Alan Flowers, Shawn Flowers, Tracy Flowers Cooper, Terri Anne Bethea, William Scott Rives, Eric Flowers, Evan Flowers, Tia Phelps and numerous great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 12 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
