William Edward Martin of Mobile, Alabama passed into the next life on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022. He was born to Abbie Lee Martin and Andrew Martin in Camden, Alabama on January 3rd, 1933. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a skilled handyman and electrician most of his life. He was well known in his local community. He enjoyed blues, R&B, classic country and smooth soul music. He greatly loved the sport of basketball and his favorite team was the Golden State Warriors and classic Lakers. He also loved a night of watching his favorite classic television shows and his favorite foods,"He was fondly known as Jalbo and He will be deeply missed." ; seafood and cherry pie for dessert. He leaves behind many surviving relatives. Sons; Vincent, Victor, Tim, William Jr, Russell and Chris. Daughters; Barbara, Ethelyn, Anne, Denise, Cheryl and Courtney. Sister, Shirley. Nieces and Nephews; Quinton, Stedman, Mercedes, Victoria and Christine. As well as one aunt; Alice Hunt. He will be remembered as a father, brother and friend to many. Services will be held for the family only as Jalbo did not wish to have a public service.
