Mr. Walter Clyde Isham, age 86, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife and mother of his children, Mattie Louise McClung Isham. Mr. Isham was retired a self-employed contractor. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an active member of the Korean War Veterans Color Guard, the American Legion and was involved in many local Veterans activities. Mr. Isham is survived by his wife, Kathleen “Kitty” Carol Patteson Isham and children; Teresa Louise Holloway, David Walter Isham (Linda), Daniel Thomas Isham (Betty), Malinda Irene Crowell (Ben), Kathleen “Kathy” Victoria Rayner (Travis), James Matthew Isham (Sii), and Ernest “Ernie” Clyde Isham (Rhonda). He is also survived by his step-children; Eddie Horton (Dolly), Gary Horton (Gloria), Terry Horton (Cindy), Kathy Bordelon (Keith) and Lori Fraley (Cliff). His 30 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren also survive him. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Veterans Sign Project. The funds are used to help provide highway signs for direction to veteran memorials and cemeteries.
