Virginia "Ginny" McFarlane Neese, age 59, of Daphne, Alabama passed away on Friday May 18, 2018. Virginia was born April 17, 1959 in Mobile, Alabama. Ginny attended McGill-Toolen High School and then graduated from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in education. She was the former president of the Kappa Delta sorority and worked as the assistant disciplinarian at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School for more than a decade. She was the loving mother of two sons, Joseph Alexander Neese and Michael Thomas Neese, and daughter-in-law Katie C. Neese. She was preceded in death by her father, A. Howard McFarlane.
Survivors include her mother, Virginia H. McFarlane; her parents-in-law, Herman L. and Helen N. Neese; her son, Joseph Neese; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Katie C. Neese; her loving siblings, Debbie McFarlane (Sam) Meador, Sue (Joe) M. Runge, LuLu (Stephen) M. Crawford, and Patrick (Beth) A. McFarlane; and her many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial for Ginny will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please send a donation to the Mitchell Cancer Institute, where Ginny received her care.
