Virginia Hill Baker

Virginia Hill Baker – a 69 year-old native and resident of Mobile and a former resident of Southaven, MS, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Hare, and brother, H.T. Johnson. Ms. Baker is survived by her daughter, Tonia Spence (Shayne); brother, Burch Johnson (Jackie); sister, Linda Bennett; grandchildren, Hannah and Colton Spence; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
