Terry Dean Miller, 69, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Mobile, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Miller, Jr. and Sylvia Delores Rankin; and two brothers, Brian Miller and Shane Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Passage Miller; three children, Chris (Tara) Miller, Seth Miller, and Sarah (Michael) Thornton; four grandchildren, Kirsten Miller, Jenna Miller, Izen Thornton, and Lilli Thornton; a sister, Janine Williamson; one brother, Dana Kim Miller; his step-mother, Donna Miller; one aunt, Sandy Davis; and numerous family members and friends.
Terry loved fishing, hunting, listening to good music, and was an avid poker player. He was the family historian, and a jokester – he loved making people laugh. Terry was a great husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He worked in the oil industry for Shell Oil Company, and as a contractor for twenty years before branching out on his own.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West on Snow Road.
